UltimateBet and AbsolutePoker relaunch – CEREUSly

Friday, 28 November 2008

UltimateBet and AbsolutePoker, two sister poker rooms blighted by separate cheating scandals over a year ago, have re-launched in a new game engine.

They promise it to be faster, more efficient and, perhaps most importantly, more secure. Many people still played at both sites until the relaunch, but it will be interesting to see who can forgive and forget.

Paul Leggett, Chief Operations Officer, said: “With the proud launch of the unified network CEREUS, our company is well placed to provide significantly better value and superior service to customers of both brands.

“We are dedicated to providing the ultimate online experience, and with CEREUS we offer real value for every dollar our players put on the tables, and our unwavering commitment to security and fair play as the foundation of the new network,” said Mr. Leggett.

The fusion of both sites’ player pools means that CEREUS has instantly become one of the top three most populous poker sites in the world, behind PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. This bodes well for the site, as with this lofty position comes great responsibility – a loyal base of customers will ensure CEREUS put the past behind them and never let mistakes like the previous cheating happen again.
