Robert Charlton is gone after clashing with chip monster Mark Aldridge

Saturday, 15 May 2010

I only caught the tail end of the hand coming in on the turn but I can tell you it cements Mark firmly as chip leader.

The board:

Q 7 6 5

Robert went all in with Q8 holding top pair and the straight draw but Mark Aldridge called held 56 (clubs) for 2 pair. The river:

6

Giving Mark the full house and a 1.3 million chip pot.

Robert picks up £4,100.
