It's all over - Andrew Couldridge is the Pokerstars UKIPT Nottingham Champion

Oliver Schaffmann suffers a horrible bad beat to be knocked out 2nd.

Despite winning a couple of hands early on Schaffmann came undone when he was dealt 99. In the SB Couldridgea limped in with Q4 and Schaffmann made it 350K to go. Andy called and the flop came:

K K 6

Oliver bet out 600K and Andrew suspecting a bluff perhaps because of the earlier two hands shoved all in for 3.5 million. Oliver thought for a moment before deciding the move was two strong for trip K's and called but joy quickly turned to horror when the spirit of the still living Scotty Nguyen worked its magic and gave him a Q on the turn and on the river. Sending a despondent Oliver out in second place.

Before the Head's Up match begun though both players made a deal with Oliver getting £50,000 and Andrew picking up £60,000. They played for an additional £14,000 and the London seat worth £5,000 which will now go to Andrew.

Andrew Couldridgea, who's been playing poker for six years, previous biggest win had been $20,000, he now takes home £74,000 and a chance to make even more in the final Pokerstars UKIPT event in London.

Congrats to Andy and commiserations to Oliver. That's it for the live updates I hope you've enjoyed reading them as much as I've liked reporting on them. Good night and good luck.
