An intriguing table dynamic developed today which saw contender Sam Grafton knocked out by Chris Brammer on a table which also included Marc Goodwin.
There were many occassions , between the three players , when betting with mid pair was certainly for value and 'hero calls' and 'bluff catchers' were the order of the day. An exit for one of the players seemed inevitable when Grafton five bet with A10 against Brammer , who had "raised every pot". While this ended in an unexpected split , with Brammer's AK, it testified to the agression with which these players were prepared to unleash on each other. This ended in the ultimate demise of Grafton who made a call with top pair for all his chips to Brammer's two pair. While Grafton was dissapointed to exit the tournament , and spoke of a 'tricky' table he said that he had really enjoyed his participation and expressed his admiration for both Goodwin and Brammer.
