"Oh, I've just lost all my chips." Michelle Orpe mock-wept to Bluff, "I had pocket Jacks, the flop was 7-high, so I pushed, and he turned over a set [pause from dramatic effect] of sevens. I need a couple of double-ups, really."

She hasn't quite been sent to Coventry just yet, but that encounter has left her clinging on by her perfectly manicured nails with just 2,400 chips.

Jonathan Spinks has just lost a tidy sum to Marc Foggin, when his launch from the big blind with Jacks was taken to the cleaners by Queens. He's still got a workable stack of around 20k, though, so it's not quite panic stations.

Darren Naylor, he of the iffy flush early doors, is very much in contention with 60k, his methodical gum chewing speeding up like a Benny Hill sketch whenever he's in a hand.
