UKIPT Online final resumes today

Wednesday, 7 November 2012

All eyes will be on Chris Moorman as the online legend attempts to scoop his first major live event at the UKIPT Online final table.

Moorman is one of eight finalists from the online leg of the PokerStars tour who are in Bristol for a live final table. The hybrid online/live event attracted a field of 587 runners and the final eight will be battling it out for a first prize of £77,126.

The action in Bristol will be a truly international affair with seven countries represented. Rafael 'Zugzwang16' from Uruguay is the man to beat with 1,530,528 chips followed closely by Germany's Wojtek 'piper_kl88' Barzantny who returns with 1,524,837. Moorman is some way back in third with 562,818.

Other hopes for a UK or Irish victory lie with Daniel 'danloulou' Smith, Ireland, 485,659 and Ben 'gs08bjohnson' Jenkins, who returns as the short stack with 360,233.

Rounding out the final table are Joep van den Bijgaart on 545,565, Sregey Prostakov on 490,798 and David Lenz 369,562.
