The PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) has forsaken its usually territory for something a bit warmer this week with the Costa del Sol the venue for its latest event.
The UKIPT has teamed up with Spain's Estrellas Poker Tour for UKIPT Marbella with the €1,000+€100 Main Event getting under way at the Casino Marbella in Puerto Banus this lunchtime. The first of two opening flights starts at noon with the second following at the same time tomorrow. A huge guarantee of €500,000 is on offer and that looks set to be hit with Day 1A already a sell out. Other highlights of the Marbella Festival include the €1,850+€150 High Roller and the €300+€30 Marbella Cup as well as a selection of NLHE, PLO and bounty tournaments.
