Yesterday, we brought you news of Matthew McDerra's win at the UKIPT Manchester Main Event. The Plymouth-man wasn't the only winner at the G Casino over the weekend though as a number of side tournaments were held in addition to the record-breaking Main Event.

The big winner in these was Jerzy Slaby who outlasted a field of 31-runners to take the £1,500 High Roller event and with it £23,250. Tamer Kamel was second for £11,650 and Radoslaw Jedynak third for £6,950 with Ben Carpenter rounding out the money finishers with £4,650.

Elsewhere Richard Miller took the £100 event for £3,120 with Peter Wigglesworth claiming the £100 Charity Bounty. Fintan Gavin pocketed £12,600 after outlasting a 156-runner field in the £300 event with Nicholas Tate rounding out the winners after taking down the £30 tournament.

The UKIPT action heads over the Irish Sea to Cork for the next leg from 19-22 May. Qualifiers are up and running at PokerStars.
