Double Trouble

Double Trouble

Thursday, 9 September 2010

As Sammy O'Brien doubles up through Adrian Grey it leaves him down but not quite out.

Scouring the back tables i came across Sammy O'Brien who seemed to have a mountain of chips in front of him.

When seat 8 raised to 150 the smiles of faces in seats 5 and 9 could be seen the whole way to O'connell Street!
Sammy in seat 9 reraises to 350 only to be reraised by Adrian in seat 5 to 1250.Sammy re pops to 3500 and Adrian flat calls.

On a flop that reads 10c 7d 2h Adrian leads for 6000 only for Sammy to shove his remaining chips in the middle and when called tables AA to the horror of Adrian holding KK, the turn and river throw out blanks and Sammy's up to 30,000.

On another note Paul Marrow who came 2nd in the Galway leg of UKIPT has been 1st to be eliminated from the Main Event.Details are yet to be heard but you can be sure i'm off to find him!
Main Event has now swelled to a massive 601 with another hour of late reg still to go
