If you’re getting a little bored of standard online poker, or just fancy frittering away a few hours with some new software, then this is your week. The UK’s first 3D poker room is set to launch this week, aiming to exploit the latest developments in technology, not to mention new players who fancy a change from their regular online experience.
The site, called The3Dpoker.com, features an as real poker room, as well as wardrobe features so that those who enjoy dressing up can create an entirely new identity. Players will also be able to observe each other using a wide variety of cameras so they can pick up on expressions and try and bring down opponents.
Seeing as this appears to be the way that the online game is going at the moment, this site could be a good bet for getting a taste for the future. That and the chance to create a fully visual alter ego that looks exactly how you’ve always wanted to.
