UBOC 5 begins at Ultimate Bet and CEREUS poker.

It’s not quite FTOPS or the World Championship of Online Poker but Ultimate Bet began their own tournament series yesterday. The fifth run of the UB Online Championship kicked off yesterday with a $320 NL event ($30 bounty on each player) that guaranteed $200,000 of the total $4,000,000 offered across twenty tournaments.
The series runs until August 29 and in conjunction, CEREUS are running a mini-UBOC with buy-ins one tenth the size. While the $320 event ran yesterday, other players competed in a $33 tournament with $5 bounties and $20,000 guaranteed.
Tomorrow a PLO/PLHE mix event takes place with a $100,000 prize pool guarantee. In the run-up to the $1m guaranteed, $1,050 Main Event there will be Stud, PLO, PLO8, HORSE and heads-up tournaments contributing to the $4,000,000 guaranteed.
