Trickett wins big in Macau

Wednesday, 28 March 2012

After a slight hiatus, the high stakes action in Macau is back up and running and it appears that one man who has been enjoying himself is Sam Trickett.

The Titan Poker pro tweeted that he has been playing at Starworld in a game where the blinds are HKD10,000/20,000 (around £800/£1,600) and that he had “Just won my biggest pot ever..... :)” adding, “1st time i have been on the right end of a massive pot all year...”.

Details of the hand remain a mystery but given how much Trickett has won in previous high stakes cash action it must have been a biggie. When asked, the Nottingham-man tweeted that he will “do a blog about it instead! more fun!! biiiig pot tho...”

Trickett isn't the only big name pro in Macau at the moment with reporting that Gus Hansen being on the wrong end of some huge action with Tom 'Durrrr' Dwan.
