Trickett is big in Macau

Friday, 16 December 2011

It sounds like Sam Trickett enjoyed his recent trip to Macau. According to his Twitter account, Trickett tangled “6 handed with Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan,$10k/20hkd” and put in some marathon hours including an, “insane session, played for 25 hours str8!”.

It looks like all the effort was worthwhile though with Poker Portal Asia reporting that Trickett's brief sojourn on the Asian island was worth a cool $2.3m.

Trickett himself hasn't revealed just how profitable his Macau visit was but did say that it was a “great trip”. Nottingham's finest has been in Vegas for the latest Epic Poker event and is set to head down under for January's Aussie Millions.

The high stakes action continues in Macau with Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius all reportedly still in town.
