Being proficient at a number of games is said to be the true test of a poker player and some of the biggest names in the game will be putting that to the test next month at the Premier League Mixed Game Championship.

Luke Schwartz, Sam Trickett, Tony G and Mike Sexton are the first four players to confirm that they'll be heading to London's Playboy Club for the $25k event with eight more big names set to be added to the line up in the near future.

The players will battle it out in a series of six-handed No-Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha heats with points awarded in each. The top three finishers in each six-man group will go through to the final.

“I think it’s fantastic that games other than No Limit Hold’em are going to get TV exposure,” said Sexton. “Poker is more than one game. This is a bold move, but a good one!”

The contests, which are scheduled for 13-17 November 2011, will be televised on Sky Sports later in the year.
