The line up includes Phil 'The Power' Taylor, Open golf runner up Jean van der Velde, Dutch football legend Frank de Boer, F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, former French rugby captain Raphael Ibanez, boxing champ Sven Ottke and scouse sounding Dane and penalty taker extraordinaire Jan Molby. Each of the seven heats will also featue an online qualifier from PartyPoker.com with each winner going forward to the grand final.


Barry Hearn of Matchroom, who will again be running the event said “This is the poker event that the sporting world looks forward to and we have some great international names and great poker players competing for the trophy, big prize money and the ultimate bragging rights. We’re particularly excited to introduce the online element and the motorsport and golf heats this year.”


Last year's event was won by Kara Scott who beat a final table which included Norman Whiteside and Gladstone Small.
