Tony G winds up Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott and Roland de Wolfe

Tony G winds up Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott and Roland de Wolfe
Tuesday, 10 August 2010

Certainly the latest entry on Tony G’s PartyPoker blog was one of the more lively and outspoken ones – which for the Australian-Lithuanian poker pro is saying a lot.

Tony G ripped into Devilfish, Neil Channing, Roland de Wolfe, Alexander Krevchenko and Mike Matusow.

Enjoying British culture, Tony G was reading The Times: “There was a story about massive whales in the ocean,” he wrote. “And the headline is: ‘Once I was the devilfish – but now I just want a tickle.’ Is this an accurate assessment? On ya bike fishy!”

After then lauding Mayor Boris Johnson’s new Barclays Bike scheme (“my favourite vehicle” gushed Tony G), he moved onto a story about a Russian donkey parasailing. Given that he is coming to London for the WPT, PartyPoker Pro Tony G then made the obvious ‘Russian donkey’ joke and aimed it at Alexander Kravchenko, begging him to make a Hellmuth-style entrance as a paragliding donkey.

“I have been hearing lots of players being confirmed for WPT London – it really is going to be fabulous,” Tony G wrote of the upcoming PartyPoker-sponsored inaugural London WPT. “Barry Shulman is one man who needs to get on his bike, he’s got some needle. Sorel Mizzi – don’t you miss me. James Akenhead – you used to be a train driver but how about getting on your bike? Annette Obrestad – you love to call people donkeys, perhaps I will parasail you out with Kravchenko!”
