Tony G demands rematch with Isildur1 and $50,000 extra money

Wednesday, 19 January 2011

Tony G’s latest blog is up on PartyPoker prior to his short flight to Melbourne in order to compete in the Aussie Millions. In it, he expressed a desire for a re-match with Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, offered an extra $50,000 in cash, threatened to take his dog to the $100,000 Aussie Millions event and... well, he was just generally Tony G.

Tony G, having been beaten out of over $40,000 by Isildur1 in the PokerStars SuperStar Showdown over 2,500 hands of $50/$100 NL and PLO, offered a rematch with $50,000 extra motivational money to the winner and a switch of sites. They’ve played the home leg on PokerStars, now The G wants a rematch on PartyPoker:

“I offered $50k added prize money if he would agree to a rematch on PartyPoker.com,” wrote Tony G. “Don’t you think it is fair that we play home and away? I lost the away match but everyone is better at home. Alas the powers that be stop such freedom.”

As for the woofa? Well, Tony G thought about taking his dog Zasko or using “one of his impeccably bred family” to tilt his opponents: “there will be a double bark every time Durrrr raises a pot. My dog will think it’s lunch and gourmet burger time every time Howard Lederer comes into vision, not bow to Jesus Ferguson and show more teeth in his mouth than Mike Matusow. More importantly man’s best friend will run back to his kennel when his owner tells him to.”
