Their mid-week sessions see durrrr take something back from his six-figure deficit.
In the past week or so Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Daniel “jungleman12” Cates have been putting a bit more time (i.e., more than zero time) into the durrrr challenge and have crossed the 11,000 hand mark. The most recent sessions saw durrrr book a $180,000 win, reducing the $800,000 plus lead of jungleman12.In total, the two have played 11,569 of the 50,000 hands and jungleman12 is a $582,788 winner. A lead of just 14.5 buy-ins is nowhere near as comprehensive as the $850,000 lead Cates had at his peak, though as the last few thousand hands have proved – anything can happen.Since hand number six thousand the two have been basically breaking even with Cates taking the edge results-wise. However, Tom Dwan was down $600,000 or so 5,000 hands ago; Tom Dwan is down $600,000 or so now. He hasn’t been in the black for this challenge since it began, though.Keep up to date with all the news from the poker world by following us on Twitter and Facebook.
