Tom Dwan Denies $25 Million Macau Win

Monday, 20 January 2014

Despite the poker community praying for the rumours to be true, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan has disappointed his fans by confirming that his $25 million win is nothing more than a fallacy.

Late last week a story emerged which suggested that Tom had managed to bounce back from a $7 million loss to book $25 million win against three Asian billionaires. While many were initially sceptical, the alleged eye-witness accounts - plus Tom's penchant for high stakes action - made the story temptingly alluring.

However, after learning of the news, Tom took to Twitter over the weekend to deny the rumours:

While we're just going to have to take Tom's word for it, there's certainly the chance that this could be another one of his famous bluffs. Indeed, although he's one of the best known players in the world it's unlikely he'd won't to brag too much about scooping one of the largest cash game hauls in history.
