Online poker room Titan Poker has confirmed that it will send three of its best poker players to participate in the European Poker Tour's Grand Final Tournament in Monte Carlo this month.
Luigi Donati from Italy and two players from France, Marc Squaglia and Herve Boulan, all qualified to participate in the European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo event by winning satellite tournaments held at Titan Poker.
Each of the players will represent Titan Poker at the tourney, which will be staged at the Casino Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort, starting on the 28 March 2007.
'I'm really happy to go to Monte Carlo for the Main Event of the EPT,” said Herve Boulan following his big win. “I won the satellite after five difficult hours and I thought I could lose on each hand.”
The EPT Monte Carlo is the final tournament of the popular EPT, which stages competitions among the world's best poker players in different European locations. Set to be the largest and richest tournament in Europe, the EPT Monte Carlo was recently increased by an extra day to cope with the high demand from international poker players.
