TitanPoker.com has announced that James Calvin as the winner of its six-month promotional event in search of Canada's best online poker player.
The Halifax, Nova Scotia, native won the Top Canadian Titan tournament on January 13 by beating 28 other leading poker players and took home $500 in cash along with the distinction of being recognised as his nation’s top online poker player.
The 23-year-old stated that he has been playing at TitanPoker.com for over a year as a hobby and likes cash games and tournaments equally.
'Titan Poker is a great site with a lot of great guaranteed tournaments,' said Galvin.
In order to retain top position, Galvin will be challenged to defend his title when TitanPoker.com stages additional tournaments specifically targeting poker players in Canada.
