Tiger Woods Poker Night Raises $500k

Stars from stage, screen and sports were on hand at the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas earlier this month for the latest instalment of the Tiger Woods Poker Night.

Hosted in association with the World Poker Tour, the charity tournament raised upwards of $500,000 for the Tiger Woods Foundation which helps provide access to college education programmes.

The hold'em contest attracted a host of big names including Big One for One Drop winner Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu and Mixe Sexton. Phil Hellmuth was in charge of the microphone and emceed the event.

Also taking part was the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks NBA franchise, Mark Cuban who got in some memorable tangles with Tiger.




The tournament was eventually won by amateur Travis Blackwood.
