Julian Thew has added yet another live title to his tournament CV after winning the latest leg of the Sky Poker Tour over the weekend. The Team Sky Poker Pro outlasted a 200-runner field in Luton to take home a first prize of £11,200.

Thew, who last year won GUKPT Coventry and the DTD Deepstack as well as the online UKOPS Player of the Series title, sealed the victory against Shaun "Shaun 1972" Cook, coming from behind with 8-2 to beat Cook's AJ.

Thew wasn't the only high profile name to make the money in Luton. Fellow Sky Poker presenter Carlo Citrone also cashed, as did our own Adam 'Snoopy' Goulding.

The next leg of the Sky Poker Tour is split with tournaments in both Glasgow and Brighton on 10th March. Qualify for both with a first deposit bonus of up to £1,000 and a free £10 tournament entry. Sign up here.
