London’s Grosvenor Casino will be hosting a series of charity events to raise funds for St. John’s Hospice next month. Tournaments will start every four hours on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th May with all the registration fees going to the hospice.

The pokathon starts with a £100+£20 NL Hold’em rebuy at 8pm on Thursday and will be followed by the following events on Friday 8th:


12am - £100 + £20 NL Hold'em Freezeout
4am - £50 + £10 NL Hold'em Freezeout
8am - £50 + £10 NL Hold'em Freezeout
12pm - £50 + £10 NL Hold'em Freezeout
4pm - £100 + £20 NL Hold'em Freezeout


The winner of each tournament will go through to a six-seater single table tournament with the winner of that getting a seat in the £100,000 GUKPT Champion of Champions event.


The Vic’s new VIP poker room also opens on 7th May with the table charges from the cash games played that night also going to St. John’s.
