It's not often that the world of fine art reaches the pages of Bluff Europe but one painting in particular has certainly piqued our interest.

The Card Players by post-impressionist Paul Cezanne has recently been bought by the Qatari royal family for an eye watering £158.4m, comfortably beating the £88.7?million paid for Jackson Pollock’s No 5, 1948.

Victor Wiener, a fine-art historian told Vanity Fair, "$250 million is a fortune. But you take any art-history course, and a 'Card Players' is likely in it. It's a major, major image."
