Julian Thew is the latest big name to join the professional ranks with PokerStars.
The Nottingham man has had string of excellent results both in Europe and the USA but is probably best know for his victory at season four of EPT Baden where he picked up the first prize of €670,800. Thew, who is currently the highest placed Briton on the EPT tournament leader board in 12th place, joins fellow Brits John Duthie, Vicky Coren, Jude Ainsworth and JP Kelly in PokerStars colours. Thew, who is also known as Yo Yo was delighted at his new arrangement saying, "I'm thrilled to have been offered a spot on Team PokerStars Pro and I look forward to promoting the brand on my travels throughout the year".
