'Our groundbreaking UltimateBet.com Online Championship is back and this year's battle promises to be infinitely fiercer,' said George MacLean, spokesperson for UntimateBet.com. The competition wraps up with a $1,000 50 No Limit Texas Hold’em event featuring a $750,000 prize pool with the final table broadcast over the Internet. In addition, professional poker players such as Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke will join other top authorities slated to deliver insightful commentary as they call each one of the games up to the final on December 16. In addition to the guaranteed cash for the event, UltimateBet.com stated that it would be introducing a $100,000 Leader Board competition to the mix. Satellites for all 13 events are now open with online poker players able to qualify to play for as little as $5.50.
