Take on World Darts champion at poker

Tuesday, 1 May 2012

Your average poker player would be hard pushed to beat World Darts champion Adrian Lewis in a game of 501 but at the poker table it may be an entirely different proposition. Players at Bet Victor will be able to put that to the test as the site is hosting a special bounty tournament featuring Lewis and former World Champion Keith Deller.

The €5 freezeout gets under way at 8pm tonight with the pair also set to answer questions in the chat box as the tournament progresses. In addition to the cash prize pool, BetVictor will be giving the winner a set of Adrian Lewis 21g steel tip darts & Pro Tour Dartboard. The tournament runner up will bag a set of Keith Deller 23g steel tip darts with the third place finisher earning a wallet and photo signed by Lewis.

Andy Horne, head of poker at BetVictor Poker, said, "We're honoured to be joined by two titans of the titanium - one a former champ, the other the current number one. We hope our players get a kick out of chatting with Keith and Adrian and perhaps pick up a few tips on handling pressure and focus, two things poker and darts very much have in common."
