The EPT Grand Final is just around the corner and in addition to the high rollers who'll be heading to Monaco there will be a sprinkling of celebrities flexing their poker muscles.
Among the big names hitting the Riviera will be talk show host Jonathan Ross who will be hosting a special filmed for TV charity event on 10 May. You could be there too courtesy of PokerStars which is running a series of freerolls and small buy-in qualifiers.Freeroll satellites are running at 8pm every day at 8pm GMT with 50 into the Grand Final to be won. A further 25 seats are on offer in a £1 buy-in tournament that follows an hour later. The final itself takes place on 5 May with the winner walking away with a tournament package that includes the buy-in plus free flights, accommodation and £500 in spending money. The sixth annual edition of Grosvenor Casinos’ Goliath tournament series may have begun last week but players are being advised that there is still time to qualify for seats into its prestigious £120 buy-in main event.
