Hands-On Mobile, a publisher of mobile games and lifestyle products, has announced a national sweepstakes to coincide with Season One of the World Poker Tour's 'Professional Poker Tour' episodes, which air each Wednesday on the Travel Channel.
The sweepstakes, which begun yesterday, allow poker fans in the US a chance to win a free trip to the World Poker Tour (WPT) Boot Camp's Caribbean Conference in the Bahamas. The lucky winner will also have a chance to compete at a special WPT Boot Camp tournament to win a fully sponsored Season Pass to the WPT Tour in 2007.
Hands-On Mobile brought WPT into the wireless arena through its Texas Hold’em game, allowing poker fans the opportunity to enjoy high-stakes and high-energy poker in the palm of their hand. Since its launch in March, 2005, almost 10 million hands have been played by mobile users worldwide.
'The powerful reach of TV combined with the excitement of the WPT Boot Camp text-to-win promotion will solidify World Poker Tour's position as the number one selling mobile poker brand,” said Hands-On Mobile's VP of marketing, Paul Baldwin. “We look forward to expanding our relationship with WPT Enterprises, as we prepare to launch our next product, ‘World Poker Tour: 7 Card Stud’, later this year.'
