Swede wins EMOP opener in Prague

Season IV of the European Masters of Poker (EMOP) got under day in Prague over the weekend with Nils Jarefjall taking the honours after seeing off 230 opponents.

The Swede agreed a chop with Austria's Pim van Wieringen when play went heads up with the pair playing on for an extra €10,000. Jarefjall started heads up play facing a two to one chip deficit but ground his way into contention, eventually sealing victory after winning a race when his pocket 3s held up against the Austrian's AQ.
