It's not just London that has been playing host to poker's high rollers in recent days. The deep-pocketed pros across the pond were at the Aria for the fourth running of its $50,000 Super High Roller.

Sam Soverel is the latest player to celebrate a huge win after topping a small but high class field that included high roller regulars Erik Seidel, Andrew Lichtenberger and Tom Marchese.

After coming from behind with A5 against AK to eliminate Cary Katz on the bubble, Soverel went head to head with Andrew Robl for the spoils. It took a lengthy heads up battle but the Florida native eventually sealed the title in style, claiming victory when his pocket aces prevailed against Robl's pocket 8s.

Soverel pocketed a cool $480,200 for the win, more than double his previous best live tournament score. Robl boosted his bankroll by $205,800 with the second place finish.
