SunPoker is looking to 2007 with the announcement that they’re preparing to launch one of the largest and unique World Series of Poker (WSOP) campaigns ever seen.
The promotion, “One Sick Promo,” will give away 100 WSOP packages to the top 100 MPP (My Poker Points) earners from December 1 to May 31. The site believes that their promotion will reward only the “sickest” players because they are not offering freeroll tournaments which players would have to qualify for as many of their competitors do.
The top five finishers on the One Sick Promo will be flying to the 2007 WSOP on a private jet and they, each with a guest, will enjoy three weeks in the SunPoker.com luxury mansion during the WSOP.
“This promotion is all about going above and beyond expectations,” said Adam Smirnis, poker room manager. “If a player thinks it’s fair to get their airfare covered, we’ll charter a private jet. If they want a hotel room, we’ll rent them a mansion.”
Additionally, the top 30 players will be put up in villas and will all receive extra WSOP Chips so that they can play more than just the WSOP Main Event.
