Sulsky sinks Kuder in Showdown

Monday, 29 October 2012

Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky became the first player to strike a decisive blow in PokerStars All-Star Showdown after taking apart Tobias “KTPOKP” Kuder. Playing across four tales, the pair battled at stakes of $100/$200 with $100,000 each on the line.

With a 2,500 hand limit, the action got underway at a swift pace with Ben gradually stacking up a sizeable lead. Kuder then mounted a comeback and redressed the balance before surging into a lead of his own.

The tide then swung once more in Ben’s favour and this time he was able to continue pushing his profits in a vertical direction. Indeed, after 1,427 hands Ben managed to claim the last of his opponent’s chips and progress to the next round where he would duel with the winner of Alex “Kanu7” Millar and Isaac Haxton.

At the time of writing Isaac Haxton was leading the British pro with just a few hands left to play.

Tomorrow’s high stakes action sees Swedish star Alexander “Sussie Smith” Roumeliotis take on Daniel “w00ki3z”Cates in a match that will determine who faces the winner of Galfond vs. Tollerene – a match which is set to take place on the 31st.
