There’s nothing quite like proving your credentials in poker than when you can show people your winnings in the year. The four men who make up the lead instructors on StoxPoker.com have certainly shown they know their stuff after the site founder announced winnings of over $5 million between them.
Doing the maths is what these guys are good at, and the 23-year old Bryce Paradis will enjoy doing his sums after he won over $2.5 million on his own. Nick ‘StoxTrader’ Grudzien, the site’s founder, quit Wall Street to take up professional poker, and the rewards seem to have merited the change in career. The website was founded in March 2006 as a subscription-based poker coaching service and a collection of poker blogs. StoxPoker databases live captures of its instructors online play, as well as PowerPoint presentations and live quizzes which aim to provide the student with a more involved learning experience.
The site certainly seems to be popular too, now available in six different languages and adding Ed Miller and Robert Williamson III to the roster. Training material covers all variants of the game, tournament and ring game play, meaning there is something for all of us. Well, apart from Phil Ivey perhaps.
