Stanley Quinn wins WSOP Circuit Lake Tahoe championship

Wednesday, 24 November 2010

A field of 246 players is no more after the World Series of Poker Circuit event at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe concluded, crowning Stanley Quinn as the $86,789 winner who takes home the championship ring, the money, entry into the National Championship and a seat in the WSOP 2011 Main Event. Is that all?

Quinn earned his seat at the tournament via a satellite earlier this week and is probably wishing he made more investments like that. He bested John McNeilly heads-up for the title after dominating chip leader Michael Traylor could only ride his super-stack to a third place finish.

The Lake Tahoe Player of the... Mini-Series? We don’t know... anyway, the man who did best at this event and earned a place in the National Championship is Andrew Barber, who made two final tables in preliminary events before cashing in the Main Event.

The full final table payouts were as follows:
1.Stanley Quinn - $86,789
2.John McNeilly - $53,625
3.Michael Traylor - $38,743
4.Dan Black - $28,513
5.Drew Caseri - $21,361
6.Ned Mantua - $16,277
7.Donna Jetter - $12,611
8.Grant Hillman - $9,929
9.Joseph Mongkul-Ua-Aree - $7,942
