The first few events of the PokerStars.com Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) have been decided but there are still plenty of opportunities to win big. SCOOP offers players of all bank rolls the opportunity to participate as each event features three simultaneous tournaments with low, medium and high stakes buy ins. The total guaranteed prize money is a cool $30 million.

Numbers have wildly exceeded expectations so far with a whopping field of 27,134 players taking part in the opening low stakes $5.50 Six handed No Limit Hold ‘Em rebuy event. Eetu100 took down the $41,563 first prize.


Europeans have put up an excellent show so far claiming 10 of the 18 titles on offer. Sexygee is the sole British winner, claiming $54,500 in the high stakes 5 Card Draw Pot Limit event.


The online extravaganza runs on PokerStars until 12th April and features Omaha, Razz, triple draw, Hi Lo and mixed events in addition to No Limit Hold Em. The festival culminates with the SCOOP No Limit Hold ‘Em Main Event. The $109 low stake tournament features a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million with the high stakes $10,300 Main Event offering a guaranteed $5 million.
