Spotlight 29’s All-Star Poker Challenge

California’s Spotlight 29 Casino has announced the details of its
All-Star Poker Challenge that will see everyday poker players
competing alongside celebrities.
Scheduled for October 13 and 14 at the Coachella-based venue in
southern California’s eastern desert, the inaugural event has
already confirmed that American football legends Deacon Jones and
Bo Jackson will participate alongside lightweight boxing champion
Jorge Paez Jr and television comics Gabe Kaplan and Murray
Langston. In addition, the event will also feature Coachella’s
Mayor, Eduardo Garcia.
The buy-in for the event is $560 with $500 going to the prize
pool, $50 to the house and the remainder to the dealer. The
tournament will be No Limit with blind levels of 30 minutes. There
is also the added incentive of a new car going to any player that
wins with a Royal Flush on the Final Table.
Spotlight 29 Casino is a business venture of the Twenty-Nine
Palms band of Mission Indians and the event will also feature a
silent auction to benefit the Native American Land Conservancy.
