The Spanish Poker Tour, sponsored by Everest Poker, will be held at the Casino de Aranjuez in Madrid on 18st April 2008.
The event will run over three days, with prize pools over the events coming to around €2 million. The tournament structure and schedule has been finalised, and they’ve even employed Europe’s most recognisable tournament director Thomas Kremser, alongside Gerard Serra, to oversee the smooth running.
The Main Event will be limited to a total of 200 players, with a total of three events on the schedule.
Main Event €1.000 + €100
Day 1: Friday 20:30
Day 2: Saturday 16:00
Final Table: Sunday 16:00
Second Event €400 + €40
Day 1: Saturday 18:00
Final Table: Sunday 16:30
Third Event €150 + €15 + €25
Sunday 17:00
Each player will have a bounty of €25
Satellites to the Spanish Poker Tour are already up and running on a number of poker sites, and all events will have the same tructure as the SPT Grand Final, with the only difference being the season closing finale will carry a €2500 buy-in. The Grand Final will also be part of a week-long poker festival, rather than the three day stretch.
