Slovak becomes Team PokerStars Pro

Dag Palovic may not quite have the same profile as Isildur1 but the pair now have something in common in that they are both now Team PokerStars pros.

The Slovak, who is something of a TV and radio star in his home country, has a number of big tournament scores to his name including victories in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt and Rhone Alps in France as well as a very deep run at this year's WSOP Main Event. He eventually busted out in 37th place and pocketed $206,395 for his troubles.

Palovic is also a regular on the EPT circuit and has a couple of final table appearances to his name but he is perhaps best know for a prop bet he recently undertook with Czech pro Martin Hruby. The pair played a lengthy heads up challenge series with the loser forced to have his hair dyed blonde with a red PokerStars logo emblazoned in the back as a forfeit. Palovic lost and played at EPT Prague nursing the worst haircut on a central European this side of Tomas Skuhravy.

"It is great opportunity to play as a Team Pro member of the largest online poker site in the world," Plaovic said. "I hope to improve my results in the future to be really a good and visible member of the team."
