Lancastrian cricketers enjoy nothing more than winning across the Pennines in Yorkshire. It appears that the red rose county's poker players enjoy winning on enemy territory too and just such a victory happened at the latest leg of the Sky Poker Tour in Leeds on Saturday.

Adam Bromley, a regular at Bolton's G Casino, outlasted a field of 158 runners in the £100 event to take home a first prize of £5,000 as well as a seat in the end of season Grand Final in Nottingham. Bromley faced tough competition on the final table in the form of new Team Sky Poker Pro Julian Thew who eventually busted out in third place.

Satellites for the next Sky Poker Tour event in Swansea in July are up and running now. New players can sign up for an account and get a sign up bonus of £1,000 as well as a free £10 tournament entry.
