Tournament poker is often said to be a young man's game so it proved in Luton this weekend as Andy Young took the honours in the final Sky Poker Tour event of 2012.

Young, who plays online as 'chicknmelt', worked his way through a field of more than 200 runners to take the £5,600 first prize, sealing victory after defeating Steve Wright heads up (no, not that one).

The Sky Poker Tour returns in the new year with stops announced for Aspers Newcastle, Sporting Emporium, Dublin, Broadway Casino, Birmingham, Aspers, Stratford (London) and Dusk Till Dawn (Grand Final).
