Sky Poker’s 200 millionth hand approaches

Thursday, 22 October 2009

Sky Poker is expected to deal its 200 millionth hand any time now and the lucky player who wins that hand can look forward to receiving a number of special prizes. If playing on a cash table, the winner will take a cash bonus of 200 times the big blind. If they’re on a tournament table (either an MTT or a sit n go) then they will win cash worth £200 worth their entry fee.

The winner will also receive £200 in their Sky Poker account, a seat in the opening leg of the new Sky Poker Tour on 7th November, a free seat in the Sky Bounty event as well as seats in Sky Poker’s Primo and Sunday Open tournaments.

All the players who are dealt hole cards in the 200 millionth hand will also get a cash bonus of £200.

"We are proud that after having launched in 2007 we are about to deal our 200 millionth hand," said Des Duffy, head of poker at Sky Poker. "There are some great stories in all these hands that have been played, but what we feel is important is that we have provided an accessible, educational and entertaining environment for people to enjoy playing poker. We look forward to that continuing for another 200 million hands and beyond."
