Sky Poker Tour resumes tomorrow

Friday, 8 January 2010

The extremely popular Sky Poker Tour makes its 2010 debut at Aspers Casino in Newcastle over the weekend. As with all Sky Poker Tour events entry is by qualification only.

Players will be competing for a prize pool of £15,000 with the winner taking home £4,000. The top 15 finishers will all make the money.

The opening leg of the Sky Poker Tour took place at Manchester’s G Casino in November with David Bryan taking the honours. Bryan outlasted a 150-runner field to take home the £4,000 first prize as well as a seat in the Sky Poker Tour Grand Final at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham in September.

After the stop in Newcastle, the Tour heads to Luton in March, Glasgow in May and Swansea in July.
