Martin Silke, a 30-year-old publican, has beaten a record-breaking GUKPT field to take down the £1,500 event at The Vic and win a £172,850 prize. The final table included Chaz Chattha, brother of Walsall winner Sunny and previous GUKPT final tablist as well as UK pro and GUKPT winner Dave Colclough.

Silke took the tournament down when his AK held up against Luke Troman’s A4. After his epic heads-up battle he received one of the largest ever GUKPT prizes as well as a spot in the Champion of Champions Event.
