Online tournament legend Shaun Deeb has made his second-biggest live cash after coming first out of three in the €20,000 EPT Kiev High Roller; the online MTT giant took second place in the $5,000 PLO side event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, taking $73,000 home after a heads-up deal.

Deeb fought through a field of 64 players before facing EPT Barcelona finalist Sam Chartier. The $99,330 first prize was all to play for but the two chopped the prize pool to take home $73,000 each. Eight players were paid in the event with Erik Seidel and Humberto Brenes finishing third and sixth respectively.

Fernando Brito snuck under the radar as he has been doing all year to take the lead in the EPT Player of the Year race. He is leading the 34 remaining players in the $2,000 side event that awards a $240,000 first prize. So far in EPT Season 7 he has won two $1,000 NL events; final tabled EPT London, cashed EPT Prague, won two $10,000 events and finished third in a third $1,000 NL event. He has a massive lead on the Player of the Year standings.
