It looks like cricket legend Shane Warne might have to brush up on some of the technical points to live poker. During the Aussie Millions he found himself dismissed to the rail for five minutes for using a mobile phone to send a text message.

It looks like cricket legend Shane Warne might have to brush up on some of the technical points to live poker. During the Aussie Millions he found himself dismissed to the rail for five minutes for using a mobile phone to send a text message.
The ban comes in his debut under the 888.com colours, and the five minute penalty would have allowed him time to sign some of the many autographs being hunted out by the railbirds at the tournament. The misdemeanour is a common mistake for more inexperienced poker players, and Warne will be sure to check out some of the other technicalities for future tournaments.
Warne is contracted to internet poker giant 888.com to play tournaments around the world, including the prestigious World Series of Poker, which was won by Aussie Joe Hachem in 2005.
The deal has left his English country team Hampshire on the hop though, and they are now having to start the new season without their captain.
Hampshire chairman Rod Bransgrove said: 'We're confident he will be back, but we'll have to start the season with someone different. I'll chat with Shane and work out a sensible cricket program for both of us.'
