Scottish success at ISPT

Scottish success at ISPT

Tuesday, 4 June 2013

It may not quite match the famous Tartan Army's famous 1977 Wembley pitch invasion but there has been another impressive Scottish performance to report at the famous stadium this week.

In addition to the €1m first prize ISPT Main Event there's been plenty of great side action and a player from North of the border has scooped one of the best of them.

Gordon Huntly is the Scot in question who worked his way through a 74-runner field in the €1k deep stack to pocket a first prize of just a fiver under £23,000. Huntly worked his way through an internationally flavoured final table that included Kyrgiakos Dionysiou, Thomas Laumer and Erich Kollman before defeating WSOP bracelet winner Matt Perrins heads up.

The final positions and payouts were as follows:

1 Gordon Huntly £22,995.00
2 Matt Perrins £14,235.00
3 Craig Sweden £9,417.00
4 Erich Kollmann £6,789.00
5 Kyriacos Dionysiou £5,110.00
6 Marc Lousky £4,015.00
7 Steve King £3,431.00
8 Anthony Nicholls £2,993.00
9 Thomas Laumer £2,555.00
10 Chiko Cohen £1,460.00

There are a number of side events at Wembley today and tomorrow. Full details can be found at Dusk Till Dawn's ISPT page.
