Scottish Poker Championships start on Thursday

£100,000 in prize money and some serious bragging rights will be up for grabs in the Scottish Poker Championships which start on Thursday.

The festival takes place at the Gala Maybury Casino in Edinburgh from 6th to 9th October and begins with £20 Multi-Buy NLHE super satellite to the main event. The top of the bill £500+£50 Main Event starts on Saturday 8th October with players enjoying starting stacks of 20,000 chips and a 45-minute clock. Sandwiched in between on Friday night is a £110 NLHE side event.


Satellites for the festival are running on Thursday night at 8pm with two seats to the Main Event guaranteed. Online qualifiers are also running at galapoker.co.uk.

Thursday 6 Oct 7pm £20 Multibuy NLHE 20k starting stack, 25 min blinds
Friday 7 Oct 7pm £100+£10 NLHE 7.5k starting stack, 30 min levels
Saturday 8 Oct 2pm £500+£50 NLHE Main Event 20k starting stack, 45 min levels
Sunday 9 Oct 2pm Main Event - Final Day
Sunday 9 Oct 6pm £200+£20 NLHE 12.5k starting stack, 30 min levels
