Schedule changes for UK and Ireland Championship of Online Poker

PokerStars have announced that the 11 events at the inaugural UK and Ireland Championship of Online Poker will now start earlier than previously advertised.

The action will now get under way at 2pm this Sunday with a $55+rebuys 6-max event with a $215 PLO Hi Lo event starting an hour later. Topping the bill is a $530 Main Event starting at 3pm on 12th December. This event will now be a two-day affair, concluding on Monday 13th December.


The new schedule is as follows:

09 11-Dec 15:00 $215 No Limit Hold’em [1R1A] $50,000
10 12-Dec 14:00 $320 Pot Limit Omaha 1R1A $25,000
11 12-Dec 15:00 $530 Main Event $150,000


A total of $512,000 is guaranteed in the week long festival with a massive $150,000 up for grabs in the Main Event alone. The player who tops the UKICOOP leaderboard will be crowned 'Player of the Series' and will take home a UKIPT passport, awarding 7 entries into the forthcoming UK and Ireland Poker Tour live series.
